Uniform
 

Please ensure all students wear the correct uniform to class. All items are available to purchase through me, or for our personalised VSD items through our online shop. If buying elsewhere please ensure it is the correct make and style as our uniform is unique to our school.

Overall, uniform promotes unity and inclusiveness while decreasing the risk of injury in the studio! At The Village School of Dance, we feel that uniform encourages team spirit and gives students a sense of identity.

Tap / Jazz / Contemporary – Above leotard with VSD or plain BLACK shorts or leggings – VSD / Tapathon t-shirts and hoodies to be worn for warm up only – students must have a leotard or VSD crop top on underneath for remainder of the class.

Street dance & Musical Theatre – VSD T-shirt / Crop top and either VSD or plain BLACK leggings / shorts / jogging bottoms.
 

Inters * Seniors

Capezio black double strap leotard Ballet – Above leotard with pink / skin coloured ballet tights

Tap / Jazz / Contemporary – Above leotard with VSD or plain Black shorts or leggings – VSD/Tapathon t-shirts and hoodies to be worn for warm up only – Students must have a leotard or VSD crop top on underneath for remainder of the class.

Shoes

Ballet – Girls: Pink / skin coloured leather full sole ballet shoes, Boys: Black leather full sole ballet shoes.

Tap – Black low heel tap shoes with Ball and Heel taps fitted.

Jazz – Black split sole jazz shoes / foot undies

Contemporary – Foot undies
